Payment & Cancellation Policy
To apply for any of CEE's courses complete the online application form in its entirety.
- Applications are accepted by mail, email, fax, or in person.
- Once your application has been received our staff will contact you to schedule your training.
- If you are applying for the 6-Week Basic Driver Training - CDL A or 3-Week Fast Track, you must also complete the associated online Questionnaire form as part of your application.
- Please review the CEE Admissions Policy in our course catalog.
Center for Employment Education is a tuition-based, non-profit 501(c)3 vocational school.
We offer many of our courses at our two locations in Anchorage and Fairbanks.
CEE also develops curriculum and provides employer-specific training at on-site locations throughout the State of Alaska.
CEE's basic driving program is nationally certified by the Professional Truck Driver Institute (PTDI). We have successfully conducted 125 PTDI classes with over 760 graduates to date.
CEE is also a third party testing facility for DMV, which allows our staff to conduct road skills exams.
The majority of our driving and hazardous materials programs are approved by the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE), the Veterans Administration (VA), the State of Alaska Department of Labor (DOL-Job Centers), and the State of Alaska Department of Public Safety.
CEE's hazardous materials programs have also been approved by the Department of Transportation, the Department of Energy, the National Safety Council, and the International Air Transportation Association.
Course Scheduling & Cancellation: Scheduled courses may be cancelled due to nonparticipation or at the discretion of CEE.
CDL Permits: Must be held for 14 days after date of issuance before road skills test can be performed.
The following fees will apply to scheduling and/or student cancellations:
Non-driving courses: Payment in full must be made a minimum of 5 business days prior to the start of the course.
All driving courses that are 80 hours in length or less:
There is a deposit of $200.00 due at the time of scheduling (relinquished upon appointment cancellation/changes of appointments less than 5 business days in advance).
Payment in full must be made a minimum of 5 business days prior to the start of the course.
All driving courses that are more than 80 hours in length:
There is a $500.00 deposit due at the time of enrollment. Cancellations and/or refunds will apply according to our school catalog policies.
Payment in full must be made a minimum of 10 business days prior to the start of the course unless otherwise indicated in the enrollment paperwork.
Defensive Driving course - refund only if CEE cancels the class.
Fees & Tuition may vary for training outside Anchorage or Fairbanks areas.
Prerequisites and DMV Fees are the responsibility of the student
