Construction Health, Safety, and Industry Specialized Training Courses

At Center for Employment Education we take care to understand the unique needs of each of our clients and to provide high quality relevant safety training.

 

We offer a variety of OSHA, Health & Safety, and specialized industry training programs.

First Aid/CPR & AED

A 6 to 8-hour course that provides a 2-year First Aid and a 2-year CPR & AED certification through the National Safety Council.

Mining Safety & Health (MSHA)

Mining Safety & Health Administration requires this course for anyone that is involved with mining operations.


Prerequisites: First Aid/CPR

Qualified Rigger/Signalperson

A 2-day course that provides a 5-year certification.
Includes pre-use inspection of wire rope, slings and rigging hardware, safe rigging practices and procedures, determining load weight and more.

Forklift

A 4 to 8-hour course that provides a 3-year certification.
Course is comprehensive classroom instruction and hands-on evaluation of forklift operation as required by OSHA "Powered Industrial Truck Operator Training: Final Rule". 
Individual or group training is available.

OSHA 10-Hour: General or Construction

This 2-day course will allow you to recognize job site hazards and also the OSHA regulations applied for performing the work in the genereal or construction industry.

The official OSHA course completion wallet card will be sent to you in the mail after it has been processed by OSHA within 4-6 weeks of successful course completion.

Boom Truck

A 3-day course that provides a 3-year certification as required by OSHA 1910.180, 1926.1400 & the ASME Standard B30.5-2007.


This course is designed to provide the regulatory information and hands-on knowledge to safely operate a boom truck.


Prerequisite: Minimum CDL B with current DOT Medical Examiners Certificate, and Rigger/Signalperson certificate.

*Combine both Qualified Rigger/Signalperson and Boom Truck courses for a discount rate of $950.00

Flagging

A 4 to 8-hour course that provides the certification required for Highway/Road Construction flaggers and State of Alaska pilot car driver for oversized loads.

OSHA 30-Hour: General or Construction

A 4-day comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in general or construction industry. This course is also carefully designed for safety directors and field supervisors.
