Download and read the Minimum Qualifications to obtain a CDL. Be sure you meet those requirements.

Click and select the CEE Application, complete and submit it online. AND,

Click and select the 6-Week Basic Driver Training Questionnaire, complete it, and submit it online.

Once we receive your completed application and questionnaire, you will receive a tentative registration letter via postal mail from our office. This letter will outline the remaining requirements and documentation you must provide by our deadline for the class you have selected. You may also provide this letter to your potential funding agency acknowledging your intent to enroll in our course.

Applicants must have completed ELDT Required Courses by Authorized Provider on TPR or are Removing a Restriction Only.

Any changes to a CDL where a Road Skills Exam is being performed requires a Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP)

Commercial Learners Permits (CLP) must be held for 14 days after the date of issue before a road skills exam can be performed.

DOT Medical Exam is required by State and Federal law for all CDL applicants.

All applicants must obtain a DOT Medical Examiners Certificate as required by FMCSR prior to training.

Industry Standards
An applicant must be at least 21 years of age to operate interstate commerce or 18 years of age to operate in intrastate commerce at the time of application and must have held a valid driver's license for a least one year.
These items must be presented prior to and at the time of appointment:

Current Driver License.

DOT Medical Certificate for Commercial Drivers.

Commercial Learners Permit (CLP) for the class of license being tested (IA, IB, IC).

Individuals testing in their own provided Commercial vehicle must present a current copy of insurance and registration for both truck and trailer (if applicable for combination vehicle).
CDL Road Skills Exam Only Application
Commercial Learners Permits (CLP) must be held for 14 days after the date of issue before a road skills exam can be performed.
ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO PRE-PAY AND PRE-REGISTER.

A full refund will only be issued with a minimum 5 business day’s notice of cancellation.

CEE reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes.

All driving courses: There is a $500.00 deposit due at the time of enrollment. Cancellations and/or refunds will apply according to our school catalog policies. Payment in full must be made a minimum of 10 days prior to the start of course, unless otherwise indicated in enrollment paperwork.
COURSE SCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Scheduled courses may be canceled due to nonparticipation or at the discretion of CEE.
If a student cancels, the following fee schedule will apply:

COMMERCIAL VEHICLES

Commercial Vehicle Class A-B-C Road Skills Exam:

CEE will collect the commercial road skills exam fee of $200.00 at the time of scheduling (relinquished upon appointment cancellation/changes of appointments less than 5 business days in advance).

Commercial Motor Vehicle Road Skills Exam (using CEE vehicle) Vehicle Charge: Anchorage and Fairbanks $550.00 (which includes road skills exam fee). There is a $200.00 deposit due at time of scheduling (relinquished upon appointment cancellation/changes of appointments less than 5 business days in advance).
PERSONAL VEHICLES

Personal Vehicle Class D Road Skills Exam:

There is a non-refundable test fee of $100.00 due at the time of scheduling.
